The Time War is nearing it's end. Gallifrey has been destroyed and most of the

Time Lords and Daleks are dead. The Time War ends when the Badwolf destroys most of the Daleks. The Woman (possibly the Doctor's mom, I'll never tell) has gathered the remaining Time Lords and begun rebuilding Gallifrey. She has discovered old documents from Omega and has used a loophole in the laws of the universe to break bring Gallifrey out of the Time Lock and into an uninhabited corner of the Milky Way Galaxy.

The Doctor sensed them and used the TARDIS to reach them, reuniting with lost

friends and the Woman. Rassilon has dissapeared, although some report being haunted by him and his reported remaining followers. The Woman is killed by a captured Rassilon-follower and the Doctor leads the Time Lords, but in secrecy. Strange things have been occuring through the cosmos with the return of the Time Lords. Time itself is readjusting. It's becoming stricter, not fluxing as much. The Doctor can change things in lesser and lesser instances. The Time Lords are working on stabilizing the fabric of the universe before doors that shouldn't be open, open. It is the work of the Time Lords to travel, explore, and heal.
